Las Vegas is the most well known place for the land-based casino on the planet. With such popular casino resorts as the Mirage, Caesars Palace and MGM Grand bringing in millions of tax dollars, it seems as though the casino industry has a positive financial impact on the US. So why not allow the land-based casino to venture into the virtual world of online gambling?

Currently the US government has not changed the 1961 law which bans online gambling. These regulations are out-dated, and lead to the outsourcing of the online casino. With the potential to bring in over $10 billion in taxes and the formation of many new jobs; there seems to be no plausible reason to keep these outdated gambling laws. 63 countries world wide benefit from the billion dollar industry that is the online casino; the US should do the same.

Considering the massive rise of online casinos it is no surprise that no matter where you turn someone is discussing their favorite casino game; be it poker, black jack, craps and many more. Even your local TV channel shows celebrity poker and black jack tournaments. The US is filled with land-based casinos with a massive expansion on the way in Pennsylvania, Las Vegas and New Jersey. It seems like the next logical step is to bring the casino to the online world.
